To day the boys are still at work preparing the bottom field for planting. I am at work in glazing up all the windows in the house & in putting in new lights of glass where they were needed. Sam* [Samuel Houston Sharp] ground 5 bushels of corn. Roberta [Roberta Hall] is still up here. weather clear and pleasant.
*This Sam is a 2nd great-grandpa to the Keeper of this family history blog.
