Wednesday, September 30th, 1863

To day it is still cloudy and rainy so much so as to prevent the boys from pulling corn. they however made one load from the field which had been pulled down. I ground 9 bushels of wheat and 12 bushels of corn. Temperature rather cool. Thus closes the notes of passing events for the month of September.
