To day the little woman [Margaret Hall Stewart nee Sharp] in company of her Mother* [Mahala Sharp Hall nee Roberts] went in the buggy to Hall's bluff to purchase some earthenware, and while there purchased 30 gals. of ware consisting of 1 jug & 4 jars. she also brought me home a box of oysters which were very acceptable. Still at work in the clearing. weather very warm & cloudy with good prospects for rain.
