  1. CHARLESTON MERCURY, September 2, 1861, p. 4, c. 1. The ladies of Henderson, Rusk county, Texas, have formed a company of sixty-five strong, who practice target shooting every week, and are excellent markswomen. A similar company exits in Waco.
