To day I made the boys plant 3 acres in corn. Business dull. In the evening the little woman [Margaret Hall Stewart nee Sharp], Mrs. Wrigley, Mrs. Sharp* & I went fishing in the river. we had no success. did not catch even a nibble. weather clear & cold.
*This Mrs. Sharp, aka Mary Alexandrien "Nellie" Sharp nee Lemaire, is a 2nd great-grandma of the Keeper of this family history blog.
