To day the boys finished pulling and hauling corn having made two loads which constitutes the whole crop being about 108 bushels. I am engaged weaving the surcingles out for the little woman [Margaret Hall Stewart nee Sharp]. Pet [Florence Mahala Hall] and the little woman are both sick, the former with an attack of the flux and the latter with fever. Burt [Roberta Downes Halyard nee Hall] still here. Hicks ground 2 bushels of corn. Weather clear & hot. Ther: 96°.
