To day I am busy in the Provost Marshal's office. Mrs. Beale* and Sam Sharp* are busy packing up things for Sam to take up to the mill [i.e., in Houston County]. The boys are still at work in making a wagon body for Capt. James Wrigley to haul corn in. weather clear & pleasant.
