To day I kept the boys at home to attend around the house and wait upon the sick. Dr. Murchison stopped on his way to Crockett to see Jimmy [James Wrigley Hall] who is still very sick, but I think improving. Florence [Florence Mahala Hall] was taken with fever. Hicks, Louisa, Wolf and Conney are still sick. Billy Stewart came to see me & remained until late in the evening when he left for Crockett. I rode down to Mother's [Mahala Sharp Hall nee Roberts] after my buggy and brought little Major [James Hall Sharp] up home with me, he has been staying there for some weeks. Weather clear & hot. Ther: 91°.
