To day the boys are at work thrashing out barley. Nellie [Mary Alexandrien Sharp nee Lemaire] drove my John mule and the buggy and I rode hawk to Crockett and back in order to fix up and send forward Sam Sharp's [Samuel Houston Sharp] clothing. Weather clear & cool with frost at night.
